He is Here

Sometimes Jesus Christ wants to say these things to us but it’s difficult to hear Him when things are hard in life. I have come to know that my Savior loves me and knows me. He wants me to be happy and joyful, but in those times when I feel like I can’t go on and I realize how small I am in this world of wickedness, I know I can turn to Him and pour my heart out to Him and He will listen. My Savior died for me. He died for each and every one of us. He experienced each of our physical and emotional pain. He KNOWS how we feel and He can give us the comfort we need to go on. In the past few weeks, as I learn more and more of how to come closer to Him in preparation for my mission, I have felt His love and comfort more often than I ever have before. He gives us strength, if only we take the time to truly and sincerely ask Him for help. It’s like a blanket has been wrapped around me and a feeling of overwhelming love has filled my body and soul. I cannot even express how amazing that has been. I love my Savior with all my heart, might, mind and strength and there is nothing anyone or anything can do that will change that.

Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still and know that I am here
Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still, be still, and know

When darkness comes upon you
And covers you with fear and shame
Be still and know that I’m with you
And I will say your name

If terror falls upon your bed
And sleep no longer comes
Remember all the words I said
Be still, be still, and know

And when you go through the valley
And the shadow comes down from the hill
If morning never comes to be
Be still, be still, be still

If you forget the way to go
And lose where you came from
If no one is standing beside you
Be still and know I am

Be still and know that I’m with you
Be still and know I am.
